FILE SET-UP GUIDELINES FOR LETTERPRESS PRINTING

Do you have artwork ready for letterpress printing? Here's what we'll need from you:

  • Vector artwork

  • Press quality PDFs*

  • Files at 100% scale

  • Type converted to outlines (or fonts provided)

  • Images embedded

Bonus points if you also:

  • Set bleeds to 0.125”

  • Ensure line weight is at least 0.35 pt

  • Include 1 color per layer**

  • Select colors as Pantone uncoated swatches

*Other acceptable file types include Adobe illustrator, InDesign, or canva SVG files
We do NOT accept jpegs, pngs, Photoshop or raster-based PDFs or artwork created in Procreate

**Letterpress ink is transparent so your ink must be darker than the paper color when printing on colored cardstock. White ink letterpress is not an option, however we can source white foil for a very similar look.

Have any questions? Send us your files and we’d be happy to help!
